Program Description
Adventure Mondays is a 6 week nature immersion program for 3rd-5th grade girls and boys. Each mini-adventure aims to increase your child's weekly time outside, tap into sensory exploration, ignite curiosity & wonder, and have hands-on fun in nature. PROGRAM DETAILS Mondays 4pm-5:15pm 9/23 - 11/4 (No Class - 10/14, Indigenous Peoples Day) Each week we'll spend 75 mins exploring a new NA location. For example: Half Mile Hill Trails, Farnsworth Trail, Rolling Ridge, Osgood Hill... Each week parents receive an email with location and directions to the meeting spot. Activities may include: -exploring streams and mud -building forts -crafting nature boats -scavenger hunts -bug / salamander hunt -clay creations The interests and curiosities of the group, along with weekly weather and trail conditions drive our plan for each week. By allowing freedom to explore, the kids' own sense of wonder and love of nature will soar! PLEASE CONSIDER BEFORE BOOKING: *this is an active, multi-age program *ability to walk 1 mile is necessary *kids are outside for 90min in fall weather - damp/cold/rain/mud *ability to FOLLOW DIRECTIONS / BEHAVE cooperatively / execute SELF CONTROL are necessary for group safety *Please read the Code of Conduct expectations on the Policy Page before registering *Any child not able to conduct their behavior to meet the expectations, will be asked to leave the program for the safety of the entire group
