Program Description

Everything Spring is a 5 week nature immersion program for 1st & 2nd grade co-eds. Each mini-adventure aims to increase your child's weekly time outside, tap into sensory exploration, ignite curiosity & wonder, and have fun with hands on learning. PROGRAM OUTLINE Every Thursday we'll spend 75 mins exploring a different NA trail. For example: Farnsworth Trail, Rea's Pond, Osgood Hill, Rolling Ridge, Half Mile Hill... Each week parents receive an email with location and directions to the meeting spot. Activities may include: -exploring streams and mud -building forts and cairns -creating Gnome Homes / Fairy Houses -scavenger hunts -bug hunts -bark boats The interests and curiosities of the group, along with weekly weather, drive our plan for each week. By allowing freedom to explore, the kids' own sense of wonder and love of nature will soar! When deciding if this program is right for your child, please consider: *this is an active program, *ability to walk 1 mile is necessary *kids are outside for 75min in spring weather - rain/mud gear needed *no bathrooms *ability to FOLLOW DIRECTIONS / BEHAVE cooperatively / execute SELF CONTROL are necessary for group safety *Please read the Code of Conduct expectations on the Policy Page before registering
