Fall Fun Session II - FULL

Program Description

Fall Fun II is a 5 week nature immersion program for 1 & 2nd graders. Each mini-adventure aims to increase your child's weekly time outside, tap into sensory exploration, ignite curiosity & wonder, and have hands-on fun in nature. WARM CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR will be necessary for this late fall program. 𝗗𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝟯:𝟰𝟱𝗽𝗺. PROGRAM OUTLINE Thursdays 11/2 - 12/7 (No Class Thanksgiving Day) 3:45pm - 4:45pm Each week we'll spend 60 mins exploring a new NA location. For example: Stevens Estate, Half Mile Hill, Osgood Hill, Weir Hill, Rolling Ridge. Parents receive an email two days in advance with the location and directions and clothing suggestions for that weekk's trail. Activities may include: -exploring streams -building forts and animal houses -crafting nature boats -bug hunts -scavenger hunts -storywalk The interests and curiosities of the group, along with weekly weather, drive our plan for each week. By allowing freedom to explore, the kids' own sense of wonder and love of nature will soar! PLEASE CONSIDER BEFORE BOOKING: *this is an active program, *ability to walk 1 mile is necessary *kids are outside for 75min in late fall weather - cold/snow? *ability to FOLLOW DIRECTIONS / BEHAVE cooperatively / execute SELF CONTROL are necessary for group safety *Please read the Code of Conduct expectations on the Policy Page before registering *Any child not able to conduct their behavior to meet the expectations will be asked to leave the program for the safety of the entire group
