Program Description

Let's welcome summer with 3 days of exploring in Harold Parker Forest! Each day we'll discover a new trail adventuring around ponds/streams/wetlands, playing forest games like roving hide 'n seek, tug-o-war and tree javelin! These mini-adventures will cover a couple of miles each day, with plenty of stops to refuel, create nature art, and maybe even solar s'mores! Playing freely in the woods and tapping into our sense of wonder, helps calm the mind, increase self-confidence, build camaraderie and feel inspired by the world around us! Being in the woods changes the chemical make-up of our brains, naturally giving us a feel-good boost! This is one BIG reason why unstructured outdoor play is so important for teens! June 19-21 (Rain Date 6/22) 9am - 12:30pm Girls entering grades 7-9 Before the start of camp, partcipants will receive the location and directions for each of the daily drop off/pick up sites in Harold Parker Forest. *Please review the policy page for information on cancellations and code of conduct.
