If you've been looking to spend more time outside, calm a busy mind, slow down and bring more wellness into your daily life... this series is for you! DETAILS: Wednesdays - 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17 (5/24 is rain date) 9:15 - 10:15am $100 Rolling Ridge Retreat and Conference Center 660 Great Pond Rd, North Andover REGISTRATION: This class is being offered through North Andover's Community Programs. Please visit their website to register for this Adult Class: www.northandoverpublicschools.com/departments/community-programs/adult-classes-and-programs Classes are held outside on the beautiful lakeside grounds of Rolling Ridge. Each week we will open our senses using specific forest bathing "invitations" (activities) that allow us to engage deeply with nature. This practice of bringing captivated attention to the world around us, offers many mental and physical benefits. Some of these include: *Reduces stress *Alleviates anxiety *Increases immunity *Stabilizes blood pressure *Enhances focus and creativity *Improves mood Participants will not only benefit from the in-person class experiences, but also learn simple practices to use on their own for continued well-being. Classes are slow paced and low impact. Participants should be able to walk about .5 miles over mildly uneven ground (roots, rocks, small inclines), and be able to sit and stand for short periods (portable stools will be provided).
