Self Care - Forest Therapy Walk

Program Description

Rest. Recharge. Connect... Start your Sunday with a rejuvenating stroll along the banks of Lake Cochichewick. We will walk about .5 - .75 miles through Rolling Ridge's wooded, lakefront trail. This gentle, immersive walk will take about 2 hours, allowing time for several forest bathing invitations and a forest "tea party" to close our experience. Forest Therapy Invitations help to open our senses and deepen our connection with the natural world and each other. Benefits of Forest Therapy Walks: ~Decreases stress and anxiety ~Calms overactive thinking ~Restores focus, positivity and vitality ~Increases creativity ~Promotes Relaxation ~Promotes pro-social behavior ~Lowers blood pressure ~Increases production of NK cells (cancer fighting cells in our bodies) A detailed email will be sent after registration with directions and a list of what to bring/expect.
