Program Description

What is Wild Yoga? Nature inspired yoga poses, challenges and games, led in the great outdoors. Each class has an emphasis on buidling self-confidence and empowerment. Some weeks might include a short story to match the day's, ie. Kindness, Loving Yourself. Some weeks might include making nature art. Tuesdays 11/8 - 12/6 3:30pm - 4:45pm We will hold class in various locations around North Andover: -Rolling Ridge -Weir Hill -Half Mile Hill -Osgood Hill Outdoor yoga combined with forest exploration could lead to... -Balance Poses on felled trees -Boat Pose variations by the lake after making leaf boats -Power Poses and cairn building -Creating our own poses as the sun sets on Weir Hill -Monkey Poses after swinging on vines *No Mat Required *If we have weeks that we'll be using mats, I will provide them PLEASE CONSIDER BEFORE BOOKING: *this is an active program, *ability to walk 1 mile is necessary *kids are outside for 75min in late fall weather - cold/damp/snow! *ability to FOLLOW DIRECTIONS / BEHAVE cooperatively / execute SELF CONTROL are necessary for group safety *Please read the Code of Conduct expectations on the Policy Page before registering *Any child not able to conduct their behavior to meet the expectations, will be asked to forfeit the program without refund COVID SAFETY Parents must monitor their children before the start of each program for COVID-19 symptoms and should not send their child to programming if they have symptoms.
